PKNS and PETRONAS Dagangan to assess land for petrol station projects
The MOU provides for feasibility studies before development decisions, with potential roles for PKNS subsidiaries in operations and related services.

Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with PETRONAS Dagangan Bhd (PDB) to examine whether its land could accommodate petrol stations alongside related service facilities. PKNS said the agreement covers identifying potential sites for the proposed developments.
The organisations will assess the feasibility of potential locations and evaluate their suitability before deciding whether to proceed, according to PKNS. It said the cooperation is intended to improve the use of its land assets and could open up business ventures offering long-term benefits to both parties.
PKNS also identified possible roles for its subsidiaries in station operations, property development, construction, maintenance, security, insurance, co-branding and non-fuel retail. It said their existing capabilities could support the development and running of the facilities, while potentially improving amenities for local communities.
PKNS Land Management manager Dr Mohd Hilmi Muda signed the MOU with PDB Fuel Retail Department general manager Mohd Feiruz Mohd Ghazali at a ceremony in Kuala Lumpur.
