Zankore is widening lender participation in a US$3.1 billion (RM12.65 billion) financing for GPU purchases, people with knowledge of the transaction said. The Indonesian artificial intelligence infrastructure platform, backed by Nvidia Corp, is taking the loan to the broader market.

Nvidia is providing support through a six-year agreement incorporating credit support and revenue sharing, according to the people. They said this reduces repayment risk for banks and covers computing capacity that remains unsold from an initial 100MW. US fintech companies are purchasing GPU computing capacity from Zankore, they added.

The loan runs for five years, with pricing set at 330 basis points above the Secured Overnight Financing Rate. Its proceeds will pay for graphics processing units at the company’s new AI factory, the people said.

Five banks originally underwrote the financing, including United Overseas Bank Ltd and Citigroup Inc. Other lenders have been approached to participate as bookrunners or underwriters during senior syndication, the people said. They requested anonymity because the discussions were private.

Citigroup and UOB declined comment. Zankore did not reply to requests for comment.
