TuJu downloads exceed 700,000 as updated app reaches Android users
MyTuJu Version 2.0 adds accident information and an EV charging directory, with an iOS release expected by the end of October.

Malaysia’s TuJu navigation app has passed 700,000 downloads, while its updated version is now available on Android. Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) officials outlined the app’s functions at a national security briefing in Cyberjaya on Oct 22.
LLM operations and maintenance director Mohd Shahrir Amin Ahmad said MyTuJu Version 2.0 adds route accident information, an electric vehicle (EV) charging station directory and local points of interest. Users can save fixed destinations and get navigation assistance to find their vehicles in large car parks, he said.
Mohd Shahrir said the iOS version was expected by the end of October, subject to testing being completed on the Apple App Store.
LLM deputy director general (operations) Dr Mohammed Ridzuan Jahidin said TuJu was developed with Prosignal Consortium Sdn Bhd. Its functions include live CCTV streams for checking highway traffic and an SOS button that connects users directly with highway concessionaires during emergencies or other road problems.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had encouraged the public on Oct 21 to consider TuJu as an alternative navigation app.
