TT Vision Holdings Bhd has received an order valued at RM15.32 million to supply automated optical inspection equipment, according to its filing with the stock exchange. The company must fulfil the order within nine months of its acceptance date.

The Penang-based maker of vision equipment said the customer is a global opto-semiconductor manufacturer, but did not identify it. The latest purchase contract is the company's third this year.

Its earlier orders included RM9.5 million in September for equipment used in automated vision inspection and for test automation solutions. It subsequently received another order valued at RM3.62 million for automated optical inspection equipment.

TT Vision shares advanced three sen, or 13.04%, to 26 sen, bringing its market capitalisation to RM125 million. The stock was up 21% from the start of the year, though it remained 25.7% below its May peak of 35 sen.
