The Ministry of Finance (MOF) has announced lower unsubsidised fuel prices for Nov 5-11, cutting RON97 by 20 sen per litre and reducing both RON95 and diesel by 15 sen per litre.

  • RON97: RM4.70 per litre, down from RM4.90, a reduction of 4.08%.
  • Unsubsidised RON95: RM4.27 per litre against RM4.42 previously, down 3.39%.
  • Unsubsidised diesel: RM5.12 per litre against the previous RM5.27, down 2.85%.

MOF attributed softer regional petroleum markets to greater supplies of refined fuels, citing rising Singapore inventories of petrol and diesel. Brent crude also became cheaper near the close of the automatic pricing mechanism calculation period. However, the ministry warned that uncertainty in West Asia still threatened global petroleum price stability.

Eligible Budi Madani RON95 (Budi95) recipients will retain the RM1.99 per litre price, with government support of RM2.28 per litre, equivalent to 53% of the unsubsidised price. For Budi Madani Diesel recipients, the price stays at RM2.10 per litre, with a subsidy of RM3.02 per litre, or 59%.

Prices under the Subsidised Petrol Control System (SKPS) will remain at RM2.05 per litre, while the Subsidised Diesel Control System (SKDS) price stays at RM2.15 per litre.
