Revenue IF Bhd said it has partnered with WeSure, Tencent Holdings’ online insurance subsidiary, under a framework covering digital insurance and cross-border payments. The companies will target Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand, although neither has binding obligations before definitive agreements are signed.

In its Bursa Malaysia filing, Revenue IF named the counterparty as Zhuhai Hengqin WeSure Digital Technology Co Ltd. The scope encompasses payments across borders, services for insurance-sector payments and business development related to insurance.

The companies’ systems are to be integrated to handle the processing, clearing and settlement of payments. The integration also covers premium collection and the payment of insurance claims.

Exclusivity applies in all four markets during the initial three years. Renewals are automatic for one-year periods, while termination by either party requires 30 days’ written notice.

Revenue IF said the tie-up would bring together its local expertise and payments infrastructure with WeSure’s digital insurance experience, supporting its plans to grow its payments business and regional footprint.

The financial implications will be determined when definitive agreements are signed, the company said. It expects no material change to per-share earnings, per-share net assets or gearing in the financial year ending March 31, 2027.

Revenue IF shares finished at 7.5 sen after falling 6.25%, putting its market value at RM45.4 million.
