New Mazda CX-5 listed at RM171,510.40 ahead of Malaysian launch
The third-generation SUV is due to launch on October 8, 2026, with a single 2.5G High variant and a standard sunroof.

An updated price list on Mazda Malaysia’s website puts the third-generation CX-5 at RM171,510.40, including on-the-road costs but excluding insurance. The pricing appears ahead of the SUV’s Malaysian launch on October 8, 2026.
The listed amount follows an estimated price of RM170,000 given when orders opened in June. Malaysia will receive only the 2.5G High variant, with a sunroof included as standard equipment.
The SUV will use a naturally aspirated 2.5 litre petrol engine with an inline-four configuration. Full specifications are due at the launch, while the inclusion of a 24-volt mild hybrid system remains unconfirmed for Malaysia. That system is offered in Japan and the Philippines.
The CX-5 also includes a manufacturer warranty of five-year/100,000-km, a free maintenance package and Activ-e window film. At RM171,510.40, the new model costs RM6,550 more than the locally assembled second-generation 2.5G 2WD High for the 2026 model year, listed at RM164,960.40.
