Kia Malaysia opens parts warehouse with PKT Logistics in Shah Alam
KSM says the facility aims to support same-day deliveries in the Klang Valley and faster fulfilment in other regions.

A partnership between Kia Sales Malaysia (KSM) and PKT Logistics Group has established a centralised warehouse for vehicle parts in Shah Alam. The facility occupies circa-20,000-square feet at One Logistics Hub and has nine dedicated staff.
KSM said the operation is targeting deliveries as quickly as the same day within the Klang Valley, while seeking shorter fulfilment times elsewhere. It reported delivery accuracy of 100% since the warehouse began operating, following upgrades to order processing and inventory management.
Recent shipments have brought availability of parts for current models to near-complete levels, according to KSM. These include components for servicing, electrical systems, mechanical systems and vehicle structures. The company said older models are also covered, including Forte, Cerato, Picanto, Stinger, Seltos, Optima, EV6 and EV9, plus earlier Carnival, Sportage and Sorento versions.
The company said it is helping dealers improve stock management and replenishment. Dealers have also received training to align their working procedures. Separately, KSM announced in January that spare parts prices would fall by an average of 15%.
In May, KSM launched the Kia Maintenance Plan (KMP), which offers prepaid scheduled servicing for five-year coverage. Enrolment is allowed within 11 months of vehicle registration, before the first lubricant change milestone. Starting prices are RM2,980 for Sportage 1.6T, RM3,580 for Carnival 2.2D and RM3,680 for Sportage 2.0. The package includes scheduled maintenance items, inspections and labour, as well as standard costs for scheduled servicing.
