Zetrix AI Bhd has put a proposal to the government aimed at resolving unpaid remittances after JPJ suspended its services on October 5, 2026, according to NST. The MYEG Group company said it was prioritising settlement of its obligations and seeking to restore the affected services, with government approval required.

Transport minister Anthony Loke said RM314 million collected from May 19 to September 30 had not been remitted to the government by two companies within the group. JPJ announced that My E.G. Sdn Bhd and Zetrix AI Berhad would be suspended from acting as its collection agents.

Loke also said the company provided a RM231 million post-dated cheque dated September 30. The bank did not process it because the company instructed it not to, leading to the suspension, he said.

The ministry and JPJ reportedly sought recovery through 35 reminders and four engagement sessions involving the company and other stakeholders. Zetrix did not disclose the proposed settlement amount or further details of its proposal.
