Zetrix AI Bhd has cancelled a first interim dividend of 0.25 sen per share, citing unexpected operational expenses. The withdrawal concerns the financial year ending Dec 31, 2026 (FY2026), with the dividend originally declared on Aug 24, 2026.
The digital services company told Bursa Malaysia on Oct 19 that its board had taken the decision to retain working capital. Zetrix AI was previously known as MyEG Services Bhd.
A separate filing said a trading halt affecting the company's securities began at 9 am on Oct 19 after the announcement. Trading was due to restart at 10 am.
Zetrix AI said it would provide updates on material developments when appropriate.
