Zetrix AI puts unpaid JPJ collections at RM314 million
The company said revenue from the suspended services ceased from Oct 5, 2026, with no timeframe available for resolving the dispute.

Zetrix AI Bhd told Bursa Malaysia it owed RM314 million to the Road Transport Department (JPJ) for collections it had not transferred between May and September 2026. The exchange had sought confirmation of the amount after the company initially said it was still finalising the figure.
Responding to a separate accounting query, Zetrix said it had included the amount as a payable in its second-quarter balance sheet. It said the payable would also be reflected in the forthcoming third-quarter results for its financial year ending on Dec 31, 2026.
JPJ suspended the collection-agent roles of Zetrix and subsidiary MyEG Sdn Bhd, citing contractual breaches and unmet obligations. Zetrix said the services had generated no revenue from Oct 5, 2026, and this would remain the case until further notice. Ongoing discussions with JPJ meant it could not estimate when the issue would be resolved.
Transport Minister Anthony Loke said each transaction required the collections to be transferred within one working day. According to Loke, a cheque from Zetrix for RM231 million, dated Sept 30, could not clear because the company had directed its bank to stop payment.
Formerly MyEG Services Bhd, Zetrix has processed JPJ services online since 2000, including renewals for driving licences and road tax. Its latest contract runs for three years and began in May 2023.
