YTL Hospitality REIT sees two Yeoh family alternate director changes
Yeoh Keong Shyan now represents his father, while Yeoh Pei Xien takes up an alternate role for Datuk Yeoh Soo Min.
Two alternate executive director positions have changed at Pintar Projek Sdn Bhd, the manager of YTL Hospitality Real Estate Investment Trust, involving third-generation family members Yeoh Keong Shyan and Yeoh Pei Xien.
Keong Shyan, 40, now represents his father, Tan Sri Francis Yeoh Sock Ping, who is Pintar Projek’s executive chairman. He had previously acted as alternate for his aunt, Datuk Yeoh Soo Min, an executive director at the manager.
Pei Xien, 25, takes over the alternate executive director position representing Soo Min. Her mother is Datuk Yeoh Seok Kah, Pintar Projek’s chief executive officer. Pei Xien also holds alternate executive directorships at YTL Corporation Bhd and YTL Power International Bhd.
The changes come after September appointments across YTL Corp, YTL Power and Malayan Cement Bhd involving 12 members of the family’s third generation. Most were appointed as alternates for their parents. Those appointments covered all seven branches of the second generation, with the younger appointees aged between 25 and 41.
YTL Hospitality REIT ended trading at 96.5 sen, up half a sen or 0.52%, valuing the trust at RM1.73 billion. Its units have declined 13.1% year to date.
