West River lands RM17.5 million logistics park subcontract
The Selangor project covers electrical, security and solar systems, with the main contract scheduled for completion by Sept 22, 2027.

Al-Ambia Sdn Bhd has awarded West River Engineering Sdn Bhd a subcontract valued at RM17.5 million for works at Selangor's E-Metro Logistic Park. West River Bhd disclosed the award to its wholly owned subsidiary in a bourse filing.
The subsidiary will supply and deliver the systems, then install, test and commission them. Its scope spans electrical systems, extra-low-voltage systems and telephone services, as well as security works and solar panel systems.
Located in Bandar Bukit Raja 2, the proposed development involves Parcel Metrohub 3 (i8A). The first phase comprises a warehouse with two storeys. The second includes a ready-built, ramp-up warehouse with two storeys, together with an ancillary building.
March 23 marked the start of the main contract, which has a scheduled completion date of Sept 22, 2027. The subcontract calls for West River to begin its works within three days of Sept 30.
West River's closing share price was 44.5 sen after a gain of 2.5 sen, or 5.95%. The group's market capitalisation was about RM159.18 million.
