Volvo opens aftersales centre in Kuching, with dealership upgrade planned
The Sebangga Group facility will initially handle service and parts, while new-car orders can be placed through its Kota Kinabalu branch.

Volvo Car Malaysia (VCM) has opened a 2S centre in Kuching, Sarawak, adding an aftersales location to its network. The facility operates under Sebangga Group and will focus exclusively on servicing and parts at the outset.
Preparations to turn the Kuching site into a full dealership are already under way through Sebangga Mitsinbo. The group company also runs a Volvo sales 3S operation in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Customers seeking a new Volvo can place their orders through that branch for now.
Chris Wailes, managing director of Volvo Car Malaysia and Thailand, said the Kuching addition formed part of the company's effort to maintain an accessible service network and develop complete dealerships across Malaysia.
Sebangga Group chairman Datuk Arif Ambrose Ng said the facility extended the group's presence into Sarawak, with service as its immediate focus and sales planned for the future. The centre is located at Lot 1096, Section 64 KTLD, Jalan Pending.
