Thirteen firms name new auditors after TGS TW exits
Messrs Kudos SBC PLT accounts for 11 of the replacement appointments, while Adnex Group Bhd has selected Nexia SSY PLT.
Replacement auditors have been announced by 13 of the 19 Bursa Malaysia-listed companies affected by TGS TW PLT's resignations in September. Adnex Group Bhd became the latest to appoint a successor, naming Nexia SSY PLT with effect from Oct 15.
Adnex said in a bourse filing that it had obtained Nexia SSY's written consent. The appointment runs to the end of Adnex's next annual general meeting. TGS TW resigned from the interior design company's audit role on Sept 1, citing a review of its internal portfolio and considerations over resource management.
Bourse filings show that Messrs Kudos SBC PLT was selected by 11 companies: HE Group Bhd, Ramssol Group Bhd, TopVision Eye Specialist Bhd, SBS NExus Bhd, Hydropipes Bhd, CBH Engineering Holding Bhd, Total Dynamic Holdings Bhd, Bentley Music Group Bhd, Hiap Huat Holdings Bhd, Baba Eco Group Bhd and Milolo Bhd. Apart from Adnex, TSIC Bhd chose a different firm, appointing Kreston John and Gan.
The six companies yet to disclose successors are Manforce Group Bhd, Excel Force MSC Bhd, Onetech Solutions Holdings Bhd, Associated Air-Pak Industries Bhd, Verdant Solar Holdings Bhd and Zetrix AI Bhd. TGS TW's departure from Zetrix AI on Sept 28 brought the number of affected companies to 19. It gave the same reasons for that resignation.
