Theta Edge Bhd has secured a computer supply deal valued at RM33.01 million, the group told Bursa Malaysia. Its subsidiary Theta Technologies Sdn Bhd will supply Aceteam Networks Sdn Bhd exclusively, covering up to 5,742 laptops and desktop computers.

Theta Technologies, which is wholly owned by the group, will provide new devices through a “device as a service” arrangement. The project covers both equipment provision and lifecycle management, while deliveries will follow purchase orders agreed by the parties.

The first delivery will activate the contract. Its duration extends for five years after user acceptance testing has been completed, subject to earlier termination. Funding will come from borrowings alongside internally generated funds.

Theta Edge said the deal would bring additional revenue and support expansion of its computer hardware supply operations. It expects a positive contribution to earnings across five financial years, starting with the year ending Dec 31, 2027.

Aceteam’s activities span hardware supply, data networking, cloud computing and cyber security. It serves businesses in various industries as well as government agencies and government-linked companies.
