Ten Malaysian credit reporting agencies have renewed their registration for 2026/2027, according to the Ministry of Finance (MOF). Their certificates take effect on Sept 15, 2026 and expire on Sept 14, 2027.

MOF said the renewals were completed under Section 14 of the Credit Reporting Agencies Act 2010 (Act 710). All 10 agencies are registered with its Registrar Office of Credit Reporting Agencies.

The agencies are CTOS Data Systems Sdn Bhd; Experian Information Services (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd; Credit Bureau Malaysia Sdn Bhd; Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) Malaysia Sdn Bhd; FIS Data Reference Sdn Bhd; Omesti BI Sdn Bhd; CTOS Basis Sdn Bhd; MARC Data Sdn Bhd; Mydata Infomatica Sdn Bhd; and One Future Solutions Sdn Bhd.

MOF also warned that conducting credit reporting business without registration and a certificate from the registrar is an offence under Subsection 11(2) of the Act. A conviction may carry a fine of up to RM1 million, imprisonment for up to three years, or both.
