Swift Energy wins first EPCC project for Johor gas plant substation
The substation contract forms part of purchase orders worth RM59.07 million in total, with completion expected within 21 months from the Letter of Award.

Swift Energy Technology Bhd said its subsidiary, Swift Energy Sdn Bhd, has won a contract for engineering and supply work on a 11kV substation serving a Johor gas compression plant. This will be the group's first engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) project.
An integrated oil and gas company awarded the contract, but its identity was not disclosed. Swift Energy said the award is among purchase orders totalling RM59.07 million, rather than a standalone contract of that value.
The company expects the substation project to take no more than 21 months from the Letter of Award to complete.
Other orders cover electrical systems and equipment for data centres in Malaysia and Thailand. Swift Energy also reported orders for a solar power system project and another oil and gas project.
Chief executive director Tan Bin Chee said the orders reflected growing data centre demand for the company's products. Swift Energy shares ended trading at 24 sen, down 2.04%, giving it a market capitalisation of RM240.2 million.
