PDG obtains US$1.3 billion green financing to expand Johor campus
Six banks are underwriting the funding for JH1, a 200MW data centre campus at Sedenak Tech Park.

Princeton Digital Group (PDG) has secured green financing worth US$1.3 billion (RM5.3 billion) for further development and expansion of its Johor data centre campus, JH1, the company said.
The deal advances a broader fundraising plan PDG announced in March 2026. Under that plan, the group aims to obtain debt financing of up to US$5 billion to deliver data centre capacity already contracted across Asia-Pacific.
The six underwriting banks are UOB, Standard Chartered, OCBC, Maybank, HSBC and Affin Bank. Funding for earlier JH1 phases initially involved three banks in April 2024; an enlarged financing arrangement followed in October 2025 with four banks.
At Sedenak Tech Park, the 200MW JH1 campus is designed for cloud workloads and high-density artificial intelligence (AI). PDG said the financing follows its Green Finance Framework and supports development that meets recognised standards for green buildings.
PDG chairman, chief executive officer and co-founder Rangu Salgame said the transaction reflected lenders' confidence in the group's project execution capabilities and relationships with hyperscalers.
