MN Holdings Bhd said its subsidiary MN Power Transmission Sdn Bhd has accepted a RM293.88 million award to develop power facilities serving a data centre in central Peninsular Malaysia.

According to the group’s bourse filing, the contract is for two consumer landing stations rated at 275-kilovolt (kV). The wholly-owned subsidiary will build the stations and handle equipment supply, installation, testing and commissioning. Main buildings and external works are also included.

The award came from an unnamed Malaysian company whose activities include infrastructure provision for hosting and data processing, as well as related services. MN Holdings did not identify the project’s precise location. Building work commenced in September 2026, while completion is anticipated by August 2027.

Executive director Datuk Dang Siong Diang said the award pointed to sustained demand from large-scale Malaysian data centre developments for high-voltage infrastructure. He added that the group would continue seeking projects in power infrastructure, data centres and utilities throughout Peninsular Malaysia.

At end-June 2026, outstanding orders totalled RM1.64 billion across power, renewable energy, data centres and water infrastructure. Annual profit for the year ending June 30, 2026 reached a record RM92.14 million, nearly twice the previous level. Revenue grew 60.8% to RM869.19 million.

The shares finished trading on Oct 12 at RM3.96, up three sen or 0.76%. That closing price put the group’s market value at RM2.74 billion.
