Mesiniaga secures RM32.3 million MyGST contract extension
The two-year agreement runs from Oct 16, 2026, to Oct 15, 2028, with no provision for automatic renewal.

Mesiniaga Bhd has secured a contract extension worth RM32.3 million from the Royal Malaysian Customs Department to maintain its MyGST System and renew its licences. The agreement continues an arrangement that began in November 2023.
In a bourse filing, the information technology products and services provider said the extension would begin on Oct 16, 2026, and end on Oct 15, 2028. Renewal will not be automatic under the agreement.
Mesiniaga expects the contract to benefit group earnings and net assets in FY2026, which ends on Dec 31, 2026, and in later periods through to completion.
MyGST was used to administer goods and services tax, which operated in Malaysia from April 2015 until September 2018. Customs continues to maintain the system for other tax administration work, statutory and legal requirements, and work procedures. The current sales and service tax system uses MySST.
For the first half of FY2026, Mesiniaga reported a smaller net loss of RM0.95 million, compared with RM2.13 million previously. Revenue rose 22.4% to RM113.2 million, which the group attributed to increased revenue from project and service deliveries.
At the close of trading, Mesiniaga shares stood at RM1.16 after falling one sen, or 0.9%. The group's market value was RM70.1 million.
