Lim Seong Hai Capital gets approval for Main Market transfer
The construction firm received approval through the accelerated transfer process after moving from LEAP to ACE in March 2025.

Lim Seong Hai Capital Bhd has secured Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) approval to move its listing from ACE to the Main Market, the construction group said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.
The group said the regulator’s Oct 2 letter approved the move through an accelerated process and its classification under the construction sector. The SC also confirmed that the company had satisfied Bumiputera equity requirements when listing on ACE.
The transfer will become effective two clear market days after the company announces the transfer date to Bursa Securities through Bursa LINK. Lim Seong Hai Capital proposed the move in July, saying it expected a stronger corporate profile and a listing status more closely matched to its operations, finances and track record.
The group reported RM238.52 million in aggregate profit after tax (PAT) across its latest three financial years, with RM102.08 million in the latest year. The corresponding minimum requirements were RM30 million and RM15 million. It also reported current assets of RM645.42 million against current liabilities of RM179.92 million.
According to the group, its market capitalisation had remained above RM1 billion since September 2025, meeting the six-month daily market capitalisation requirement. Its listing began on LEAP in July 2021 before the move to ACE in March 2025.
At the Oct 2 midday trading break, LSH shares stood at RM1.64 after gaining three sen or 1.86%. The company’s market value was RM1.37 billion.
