Kopi Royale Johor is aiming to open a cafe within three years after selling more than 5,000 cups of traditional local coffee during a three-day sales tour in Muar, Johor, founder Nurul Afiqah Mazalan told Bernama.

Nurul Afiqah said the business was raising capital for the proposed cafe, where she intends to offer food and pastries alongside coffee. Her immediate priority is to consolidate operations in Johor before pursuing expansion into other states.

The brand has a stall in Bandar Seri Alam. Through a food enterprise partnership, it also operates at two universities located in Pasir Gudang and a Kota Tinggi shopping mall. Nurul Afiqah also regularly takes part in sales events.

According to the founder, the drinks use Indonesian robusta beans processed by a local factory. Prices range from RM4 to RM14. The business offers six drink types, mainly differentiated by toppings, and develops new menu options every month or two.

Nurul Afiqah founded the brand with her husband, Mohammad Fazarikman Mohd Faudzi. After returning from Singapore, the couple started a food business before moving into beverages in January 2023. They began the beverage venture with more than RM1,000 in capital and without loans.

She credited TikTok with helping the brand reach more customers, saying one video attracted 12.1 million views. Nurul Afiqah has more than 121,800 followers on the platform, where her content largely features customer interactions.
