A consortium that includes Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary has won a contract worth RM568.19 million from Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) to establish Paka GIS in Terengganu, the group said in a Bursa Malaysia filing.

The subsidiary, Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd (KPMSB), is partnering with Jati Tinggi Holding Sdn Bhd (JTHSB) and Betapac Sdn Bhd (BSB). JTHSB is wholly owned by Jati Tinggi Group Bhd. Their unincorporated venture operates as JTHSB-KPMSB-BSB Joint Venture.

Kerjaya Prospek said the venture had received and accepted TNB’s award. Completion is required within 24 months of commencement. The agreement assigns JTHSB 55 per cent, KPMSB 25 per cent and BSB 20 per cent of the contract’s rights and benefits, along with its obligations and responsibilities.

The group expects the work to add revenue over the next two years and expand its order book. It also expects a positive contribution to earnings and net assets per share for its financial years ending 2026 to 2028.
