Kelington Group Bhd said its wholly owned subsidiary, Kelington Technologies Sdn Bhd, has won a further contract valued at about RM133 million for structural steel work on an advanced data storage manufacturing facility. The customer is a manufacturing company based in Sarawak.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said work under the latest award is expected to start immediately, with completion scheduled for April 2028.

The same customer awarded the subsidiary a RM172 million contract on Sept 29, 2026, covering engineering and initial infrastructure development. Kelington said contracts together with purchase orders for the project had amounted to about RM283 million when that earlier award was announced.

The group expects the new work to make a positive contribution to earnings and net assets for financial years ending on Dec 31, 2026 and thereafter, until the project is completed. Kelington Technologies also expects further awards from the customer for other work on the Kuching, Sarawak project.
