JPJ collection-agent suspension to cover MyEG and Zetrix from October 5, 2026
JPJ says its other service channels will operate normally as services offered through MYEG Group are suspended.

My E.G. Sdn Bhd and Zetrix AI Berhad will be suspended as JPJ collection agents from October 5, 2026, the road transport department announced. The suspension extends to every JPJ service offered through MYEG Group, which includes both companies.
JPJ director-general Datuk Aedy fadly Ramli said the department had considered the companies’ compliance with their agreement and obligations that remained unresolved or unfulfilled. Users would still be able to obtain JPJ services through the department’s official channels and other alternatives, he said.
Separately, The Straits Times reported that Zetrix was believed to owe Malaysia’s government more than RM200 million from JPJ collections. It said the company had allegedly not remitted receipts from road tax renewals, driving licence renewals and traffic summons payments since its three-year contract started in May 2023.
An unnamed government official quoted by The Straits Times said the Transport Ministry was weighing its next steps. The official said the ministry wanted repayment of the outstanding money as well as a digital payment system it could rely on more.
