Insights Analytics Bhd has been awarded a subcontract worth RM14.44 million for the Suai water treatment plant in Sarawak's Miri division, according to its Bursa Malaysia filing. The work covers construction as well as operating and maintaining the facility.

The company said its wholly owned subsidiary, Insights Analytics Technologies Sdn Bhd, accepted the award from K J S Capital Sdn Bhd, the main contractor. The plant is designed for seven million litres per day under a project intended to address acute shortages of water supply in Suai.

Construction is due to start on Oct 13, with completion scheduled for April 10, 2027. A 60-month period for operation and maintenance will follow.

The subsidiary also won a subcontract worth RM12.24 million in April for Sibu substation works, with a 16-month schedule ending in September 2027. In January, it secured the Betong-Pusa regional water supply grid project worth RM58.4 million.

Insights Analytics shares ended trading on Oct 6 at RM1.25, up four sen or 3.3%, valuing the company at about RM687.5 million.
