Infomina Bhd reported RM10.30 million in net profit for 1QFY2027, which ended on Aug 31, 2026, compared with RM8.13 million a year earlier. The 26.76% increase reflected a larger contribution from its technology infrastructure operations, according to the company's bourse filing.

Revenue rose to RM76.19 million from RM54.63 million. Infomina attributed the increase mainly to its infrastructure operations and related maintenance and support services. The company did not declare a dividend.

Infomina said recent contracts had lifted its order book to RM614.2 million. These included Malaysian awards from the Road Transport Department and a local financial institution, alongside a contract with Panasonic Digital Co Ltd in Japan.

The group also completed its purchase of a 51% stake in Blue Fortress Sdn Bhd. It said the acquisition was intended to reinforce its offerings in cybersecurity, digital transformation and managed technology services.

Broadcom appointed Infomina to handle distribution and support for its Mainframe Software portfolio in 12 Asia Pacific markets. The appointment extends Infomina's distribution coverage to Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and India.

The group remained optimistic about its outlook, subject to unforeseen circumstances, despite global economic uncertainty. At the Oct 14 close, its shares stood at RM1.85, up six sen or 3.35%, with a market capitalisation of RM1.11 billion.
