Infomina gains five-year Broadcom software role in 13 Asia Pacific markets
The appointment adds enterprise automation, network operations and IT management software to Infomina’s existing mainframe business.

Infomina Bhd has been appointed to distribute and support Broadcom’s Agile Operations Division (AOD) software in 13 Asia Pacific markets for five years, according to its Bursa Malaysia filing on Nov 2.
Broadcom subsidiary VMware International Unlimited Company made the appointment, which takes effect from Nov 1, 2026, and ends on Nov 2, 2031. An extension would require negotiations and agreement by both parties.
The AOD portfolio covers enterprise automation, network operations and IT management. It adds to Infomina’s Broadcom Mainframe Software Division (MSD) business, which centres on the management and modernisation of critical mainframe systems.
In a separate statement, Infomina CEO Yee Chee Meng said the appointment would allow the company to apply its mainframe experience to other IT operations. He said it also supported efforts to diversify the enterprise software business and pursue further Asia Pacific opportunities.
The territories covered include Malaysia, Singapore, China, India and Australia. The appointment comes after Broadcom widened Infomina’s mainframe distribution and support rights in September to cover 12 Asia Pacific markets.
Infomina began distributing Broadcom mainframe software in 2019. Its outstanding order book stood at RM614.2 million as at end-August.
