HeiTech Padu ends NIISe collaboration with Zetrix AI
The companies agreed not to renew their teaming agreement for the RM1.05 billion immigration system project.

HeiTech Padu Bhd said its collaboration with Zetrix AI Bhd on the National Integrated Immigration System (NIISe), valued at RM1.05 billion, has ended. In an Oct 29 Bursa Malaysia filing, the company said both sides had agreed against extending their teaming agreement.
The NIISe contract was awarded to HeiTech Padu in October 2024 at RM892.2 million, before its value was raised to RM1.05 billion. The project is intended to bring immigration services and border controls onto one platform, replacing the Immigration Department’s ageing systems.
According to HeiTech Padu, the teaming agreement signed in April 2024 was a temporary, one-year arrangement to explore Malaysian information technology services opportunities.
An August 2025 supplementary agreement assigned front-end technology work to Zetrix AI and back-end systems to HeiTech Padu for jointly identified projects. That agreement contained no validity period. HeiTech Padu said the teaming agreement had lapsed but did not give an expiry date.
Zetrix AI had stated in an August 2025 filing that its commercial arrangements with HeiTech Padu covered immigration-related services under NIISe.
In September, Zetrix AI sold its entire 16.9% holding in HeiTech Padu through a direct business transaction. The disposal involved 27.5 million shares and was estimated at RM27.5 million.
HeiTech Padu ended Thursday unchanged at 90 sen per share, giving it a market value of RM146.7 million.
