Globaltec appoints Chen Heng Mun deputy group CEO and Goh Min Yen executive director
Chen retains his existing executive director and group finance director positions. Goh is the son of founder Tan Sri Goh Tian Chuan.

Automotive components manufacturer Globaltec Formation Bhd announced two leadership changes on Oct 1: Chen Heng Mun, 56, becomes deputy group chief executive officer immediately, while Goh Min Yen, 38, joins as an executive director.
Globaltec’s bourse filing said the redesignation leaves Chen’s other responsibilities unchanged. He remains an executive director and the group finance director. His board tenure began on March 28, 2012, and he also holds a board seat at NuEnergy Gas Ltd, its Australian clean energy business with 70% ownership by Globaltec.
Goh is the son of Tan Sri Goh Tian Chuan, Globaltec’s founder and group executive chairman. After joining in 2013, he took on several finance positions and is currently general manager overseeing group corporate affairs. His remit includes investment appraisals, sustainability reporting and corporate finance.
Before joining Globaltec, Goh worked at KPMG between 2010 and 2013, departing as an audit assistant manager. His statutory audit work covered manufacturing, property development, services and re-insurance.
Goh’s qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in commerce awarded by Australia’s Bond University. His professional memberships are with CPA Australia and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
Globaltec’s closing share price was 85.5 sen, a decline of 2.5 sen or 2.8%. The group’s market capitalisation stood at RM230.1 million.
