GDB wins RM877 million Shah Alam logistics hub contract
The award takes GDB’s outstanding order book to RM2.93 billion following another construction contract in Desa ParkCity.

GDB Holdings Bhd said it has won a RM877 million contract for a logistics development in Seksyen 15, Shah Alam. The project involves demolishing a factory and constructing two logistics buildings, each with five storeys.
According to its bourse filing, Grand Dynamic Builders Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary, accepted the award from Rochester Logistics Asset 2 Sdn Bhd on Nov 2. GDB said the development will include mezzanine offices within the logistics buildings and a separate cafeteria with three storeys.
Construction is scheduled to begin on Nov 4, 2026, with completion targeted for Sept 3, 2029, spanning a 34-month period. GDB plans to use internal funds alongside bank borrowings to finance the project and expects it to support earnings over the contract’s duration.
The award follows a RM1.02 billion contract that Grand Dynamic Builders secured from Perdana ParkCity Sdn Bhd for ParkCity Residence, a luxury residential development in Desa ParkCity, Kuala Lumpur. GDB’s outstanding order book now stands at RM2.93 billion following the two awards.
At the midday trading break on Nov 3, GDB shares stood at 57.5 sen, down half a sen or 0.86%, giving the company a market value of RM593 million. The shares had gained over 17% over the past one year.
