GDB secures RM1.02 billion contract for Desa ParkCity residences
The group's largest contract takes year-to-date wins to a record RM1.81 billion, with construction scheduled for completion in August 2031.

GDB Holdings Bhd said it has won a RM1.02 billion contract to build ParkCity Residences in Desa ParkCity, Kuala Lumpur, marking its biggest job so far. Perdana ParkCity Sdn Bhd awarded the work to Grand Dynamic Builders Sdn Bhd, which is wholly owned by GDB.
Construction is due to begin in November, with completion scheduled for August 2031, GDB said. The residential project comprises 433 apartments across two blocks of 49 and 63 storeys. Plans also include a seven-storey podium providing residential amenities and parking, plus basement parking over two storeys.
GDB said the award lifted its year-to-date contract wins to a record RM1.81 billion and its outstanding order book to about RM2.05 billion. The group said the order book provides earnings visibility through 2031.
The relationship between GDB and Perdana ParkCity dates to 2013. GDB's completed projects for the developer include One Central Park, Westside III and Park Regent in Desa ParkCity.
For the second quarter ended June 30, 2026, GDB reported net profit of RM13.2 million, down 39.3% from RM21.75 million a year earlier. Revenue fell 21.2% to RM142.48 million from RM180.86 million. Several projects approaching completion and higher administrative costs associated with its expansion into Sarawak and Sabah weighed on performance.
