Dialog to add 100,000 cubic metres at Tanjung Langsat terminal
Public Investment Bank puts the project cost at up to RM200 million, with the additional capacity due by mid-2029.

Dialog Group Bhd is undertaking a storage expansion at Tanjung Langsat, Johor, with construction and engineering activities scheduled to start immediately. In an exchange filing, the company said it would add 100,000 cubic metres by mid-2029, taking the terminal’s capacity to 1.1 million cubic metres.
Public Investment Bank said the project would cost up to RM200 million, with an internal rate of return in the high single digits. The bank said the expansion would widen Dialog’s recurring income base and make use of marine facilities already in place.
The latest phase at Langsat 3 follows a 150,000-cubic-metre addition that began operating in September. That capacity is fully contracted, with Hong Kong renewable fuel firm EcoCeres taking 100,000 cubic metres under a take-or-pay arrangement.
Public Investment expects utilisation to exceed 90% after commissioning, citing regional demand for storage. However, it noted that development has occupied almost all of the Tanjung Langsat site, leaving limited scope for additional capacity beyond this phase.
