Cyberjaya Education plans RM15 million Sepang land purchase
The 24,777 square metres site is near the University of Cyberjaya, with completion of the purchase expected in the third quarter of 2027.

Cyberjaya Education Group Bhd plans to pay RM15 million in cash for vacant commercial land in Sepang to support expansion of the University of Cyberjaya and future facilities for students. The freehold site measures 24,777 square metres.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Ilmu Living Sdn Bhd, would buy the property from Maju PuncakBumi Sdn Bhd, which is in liquidation. The site is near the university.
Cyberjaya Education said the purchase forms part of its long-term approach to university growth and investment in student infrastructure. It has yet to determine the development concept, scale or timetable, which will depend on feasibility studies, planning, an assessment of its needs and regulatory approvals.
Completion is expected in the third quarter of 2027, provided the agreement’s conditions precedent are fulfilled or waived. At June 30, the group’s cash and cash equivalents stood at RM6.97 million, while total borrowings were RM155.74 million.
The shares ended trading on Oct 8 at RM1.49, unchanged, valuing the group at RM259.8 million. The stock’s year-to-date gain was 63.7%.
