Michelle Davies has taken over from Olivier Monceau as general manager of Club Med Singapore and Malaysia, the company said in a statement. Her responsibilities span Singapore and Malaysia as well as emerging markets in South Asia.

Davies will work with Rachael Harding, Club Med SEAP chief executive officer, and Sebastian Favre, SEAP VP DCP, on regional growth. She previously spent six years leading Club Med Pacific as general manager. According to the company, that business became one of its five largest markets globally during her tenure.

Davies identified the Borneo opening and Cherating renovation as priorities for 2027. She said 2027 would mark the first full year of guest operations at Club Med Borneo in Sabah, while renovation work at Club Med Cherating started on Oct 11.

She said the two resorts, alongside new resort developments in Thailand, Japan and Indonesia, offered opportunities to increase domestic travel and short-haul trips within the region.

Marc Letourneau takes over Davies’ former Pacific role. Monceau had headed the Singapore and Malaysia business since 2022, preparing for Club Med Borneo and starting the Cherating overhaul, the company said.
