AIMAX plans RM15.12 million sale of two companies to Datasonic
The consideration will offset debt to MMR Capital, which has also agreed to waive RM2.02 million owed by AIMAX Healthcare.

AIMAX Bhd said it has agreed to sell two businesses to Datasonic Group Bhd, with the combined RM15.12 million consideration to be used to reduce its group’s debt to MMR Capital Sdn Bhd.
Datasonic will pay RM1 million for AIMAX’s complete holding in IF Security Solution Sdn Bhd (IFSS), consisting of one million shares. A separate agreement covers Premiumway Development Sdn Bhd (PDSB): AIMAX Assets Sdn Bhd will sell its one million shares, representing full ownership, for RM14.12 million.
The debt relates to a working-capital loan taken by AIMAX Healthcare Sdn Bhd, which is wholly owned by AIMAX. Its outstanding borrowing from MMR Capital stood at RM54 million on Sept 30, 2026. The lender’s agreed RM2.02 million waiver brings that amount down to RM51.98 million.
MMR Capital is a licensed moneylender wholly owned indirectly by Datasonic. AIMAX said the purchase consideration would be offset against the borrowing, settling part of the group’s obligations.
PDSB’s assets include neighbouring properties of 42,009 sq ft and 14,810 sq ft in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. AIMAX Group occupies the larger site as its corporate and operations office. That site is also intended for a proposed smart card personalisation centre that IFSS would develop. IFSS provides smart card personalisation services and related solutions.
The fourth quarter of 2026 is the expected completion period, subject to conditions under each share sale agreement. AIMAX was previously known as Hong Seng Consolidated Bhd.
