He later completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Puerto Rico in 2005 and a vascular and interventional radiology fellowship at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 2006.
An expert in his field, the doctor is board-certified in diagnostic radiology and interventional radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). The ABR is a not-for-profit physician-led organization that oversees the certification and ongoing professional development of specialists in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, radiation oncology, and medical physics.
In addition to his professional qualifications, Dr. Arzola-Colon is also an active member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, a professional society that aims to promote and advance the field of interventional radiology through education, research, and advocacy.
